Garrett Wolf is an elite level gymnast, who joined Diavolo in August of 2000. Originally hailing from the state of Alaska, Garrett trained in gymnastics and garnered further skills in partner stunts at the University of Anchorage, Alaska, where he also studied American Sign Language. He then spent time training in ballet and jazz in both Los Angeles and New York. Garrett’s recent credits include: stunt man work at Disney’s California Adventure Lights, Camera, Chaos, dancing in Disneyland’s Animazement, Magic Mountain’s Batman and Robin Action Stunt Spectacular portraying the role of "Mr. Freeze", and acrobatics at Sea World’s Cirque de la Mer. Garrett is also skilled in Chinese Poles, Russian Swing, Tumble Track, and Downhill Skiing and has recently started Sea Kayaking.
Renee Larsen is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Her training includes jazz, ballet, tap, modern, gymnastics and Tae Kwon Do. She studied both dance and psychology receiving her BA from The University of California Irvine. From there she moved to San Diego and became a founding member of Eveoke Dance Theatre. She spent 4 years performing with Eveoke and working as their rehearsal assistant. She currently teaches fitness classes and works as a stunt performer at Universal Studios Hollywood in the Terminator 2: 3D live action show. Renee is thrilled to have joined Diavolo in 2005.
Philip Flickinger is originally from Minnesota, where he grew up jumping over obstacles and running in circles. He earned his BA from Gustavus Adolphus College and his MFA in dance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. While living in Colorado, Philip danced with Nancy Smith and Frequent Flyers Productions, Katie Elliott and Third Law Dance/Theatre, The Hannah Kahn Dance Company, and Deborah Reshotko and Speaking of Dance. He is excited to be dancing with Diavolo, joining the company in 2006.
Briana Bowie grew up in San Diego, California. Dancing since she was 8 years old, her training includes modern, jazz, ballet, hip hop, improvisation and tumbling. She is also an accomplished modern dance choreographer. She recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in dance. She has spent the last 3 years on the committee of Bare Bones Dance Theater, a student produced dance show. In her final year at UCI Briana became the Chair of BBDT. She also spent 3 years with the UCI Etude Ensemble under the direction of legendary choreographer, Mr. Donald McKayle. She has performed many of McKayle’s dances including Angelitos Negros, Games, Ash, Midnight Dancer, Masque of the Red Death and Songs of the Disinherited. Briana is honored to have been welcomed into the Diavolo family in 2006.
